Web Hosting Site Make Over

Web Hosting

The main focus of this web site is to provide web hosting for organizations, businesses or just about anyone else that has a need for a web hosting account.

Once I get the frame work for this web site ironed out I will start posting information to help you set up an information web site on your own web hosting account.Web Site Development

It isn’t really that hard when you break it down into easy to follow steps.

Anyway, I need to keep going on the project at hand, my web hosting site make over… Plus I have a client site to work on when I get done withe this project.

I will be back with another post tomorrow. Hopefully I will set up some order pages tonight, just in case you need to get a web site right away.

Your Own Domain Email

One great way to make good use of your web hosting account is to use it to set up your personal email accounts. When you have your own domain name and use it for your web hosting you can also set up a unique email account where you can use any user name that you can think of. Most web hosts offer several email accounts or unlimited email accounts with each web hosting account.

I like to use email accounts that are hosted on my own domains because this is one layer of personalization that I believe will make my email stand out and make them easier to identify as mine. You will want your email address to be easily recognizable so it doesn’t get thrown out with the spam mail.

If you send an email with a unique user name and domain your recipient will be much more likely to remember who you are. It also looks much more professional to send messages on your own domain if you are using your email account to communicate with your clients or business associates.

One other advantage to using an email address hosted on your domain name is that it does not include ads that hurt your creditability like several of the free email services offer. If you use a Yahoo.com or some other free email account it is really hard to come up with a user name without adding text and dashes to make it unique.
